The world hates honesty, so white lies became the reality

We getting lazy, we don’t ask questions no more
When what you believe in is based from who you believe in
Conservative or liberal, red or blue, which one are you?
You can only be one, choose sides and stick with it
Makes me sick when I think of it, defections are blasphemous
Smear campaigns are vicious and anonymous
That’s why I don’t fuck with politics, only policies
Never make my mind up without knowing what it’s about
So the next time I’ve to choose side, I’ll choose wisely
But if it’s for a loved one, it’s a whole different story

My goodbyes, she went away a weekend ago
A mute, she left without saying a word

How do I listen when there is no conversation?
